We are looking for a knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist who will join our national technical support team, bringing in a wealth of HVAC experience and a sharp focus on controls.
This position is fully remote, allowing us to welcome applicants from all over Australia to join our dynamic and diverse team.
- Provide outstanding technical support to customers, resolving HVAC control and Home automation-related issues.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues, evaluate their impact, and provide suitable solutions.
- Deliver expert knowledge and guidance on our products, ensuring customers gain maximum benefits from our solutions.
- Maintain updated knowledge of HVAC systems, home automation, and cloud-based service tools to offer industry-leading support.
- Collaborate with team members to drive continuous product and service improvement.
- Manage technical documentation and support materials.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC VRF systems, specifically with a focus on controls.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements.
- Ability to provide after-hours support if necessary.
- Relevant certifications would be advantageous.
The selected candidate will undergo comprehensive training to proficiently operate our cloud-based systems and remote access tools. Rest assured, you won’t be left to navigate these technologies independently. We have an experienced team member currently in this role who will provide mentorship and support throughout the onboarding process.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to transition from hands-on work to a more strategic role. We are particularly interested in candidates with extensive knowledge of major AC brands and a strong command of controls.
This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to contribute from the comfort of your home office. However, please note that we do maintain offices in Sydney and Brisbane for those located in proximity to these locations.
While the position primarily offers remote work, occasional travel may be required. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will make every effort to schedule travel in a manner that accommodates your daily commitments.
The role is offered as a PAYG (Pay As You Go) employment arrangement, complete with appropriate allowances such as car, travel, and phone. Alternatively, if you prefer an ABN (Australian Business Number) arrangement, we are open to discussing that option as well.
