CoolMaster EDGE provides a unique solution, with seamless cloud connectivity, universal protocol integration as well as edge-based smart logic for enhanced energy, IAQ, and HVAC system management.

The CoolMaster EDGE’s local processing capabilities simplify the commissioning process, allowing integrators to complete tasks locally. Once connected to the internet, they can leverage enhanced cloud resources and tools.
Using the CoolMaster EDGE, integrators can self-connect and map any BACnet-enabled device (e.g., HVAC systems and sensors) through an intuitive mapping tool. Simply plug it into the HVAC system terminals, and all the linked units are auto-discovered. These units can then be controlled, managed, and monitored locally, through a cloud service, or integrated with a building management system.

Its smart setup wizard also makes it especially useful when dealing with legacy HVAC systems or if control over additional BACnet-based devices, beyond HVAC, is required.
Local data buffering ensures that CoolMaster EDGE continues logging and storing HVAC system data even during internet outages. Once connectivity is restored, all data is automatically synchronized with the cloud, ensuring no loss of information for monitoring, diagnostics, or performance analysis.
Yes. While local integration and control are available out of the box, access to CoolAutomation’s advanced cloud-based tools, such as smart monitoring, predictive maintenance, remote management, and analytics, requires a subscription.
Features like local data buffering and edge logic are designed to ensure continuity for cloud-based services during connectivity interruptions. If you’re not using our cloud platform, these resiliency capabilities have limited relevance.
