Coolink’s Interface is compatible with Daikin VRV, Panasonic / Sanyo and Toshiba VRF indoor units. In the future indoor units of HVAC systems from Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Fujitsu and others will be supported as well.

Interfacing Home Automation Controllers with CooLink is a simple and straightforward task requiring only common ASCII commands over RS232 or simple registers read /write operands over RS485 to fully comply with ModBus RTU specifications.

Same RS232 Interface for all VRV/VRF HVAC Systems

All CooLink models provide the same RS232 interface for all VRV/VRF HVAC Systems. So for instance, a home automation application, where a Daikin VRV indoor unit is connected via CooLink, will function exactly the same way for as Panasonic VRF, Sanyo VRF, Toshiba VRF etc’. No special interface adaptation is required to migrate from one CooLink type to another.

Full Control over Indoor Units Operation

Control over indoor units includes the following functions: On/Off control, Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry mode selection, Set Temperature Control, Fan Speed Control, Swing Control (for wall mounted and cassette indoor units), Filter Reset Sign. CooLink allows simultaneous control of up to 8 indoor units.

CooLink is connected to the indoor unit’s communication, while power supply is external. An external wall mounted 220/110v power supply unit and adaptor are supplied with the unit. Future designs won’t require any additional power supply unit.

Coolink allows the monitoring and diagnostics of failure alarms, set point temperature, operation status (on/off), operation mode (cool/heat/fan/dry), fan speed (high/low), filter sign, swing, Liquid and Gas temperatures and EV opening.
