We're excited to announce the latest version of our Professional App, which introduces the long-awaited Modbus Wizard!
Using our new Modbus configuration tool and a CoolMaster EDGE, you can easily integrate and control any compatible Modbus-communicating device, including energy meters, heat pumps, lighting controllers, fan coil systems, packaged units, and more.
Here’s how it works:
- Plug in the Modbus device: physically connect it to the relevant communication line on your CoolMaster EDGE.
- Map its points: Select the Modbus points you want to map to the Professional App, or load a predefined mapping from the library. Test each point as you define it to verify that it returns the expected value.
- Set up the Control UI: Choose how the mapped points appear and are controlled in the app.
- Bind it to the app: Finalize the setup and click “Bind” to enable device configuration for live bidirectional communication.
- Start managing: monitor and control Modbus devices, access diagnostics, establish interlocks with other connected systems, set alerts, and create anomaly rules.
