We are pleased to announce that the number of HVAC models now supported by CoolMaster has significantly expanded to include additional Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric systems.

Daikin

While previously CoolMaster only supported VRV and SkyAir split units that incorporated wired remote controllers (i.e., BRC1c and BRC1D), it is now compatible with all Daikin VRV and split systems.  CoolMasters will be supplied with a dedicated cable to be connected directly to indoor unit terminals on their PCB, enabling connectivity with all wall-mounted indoor unit types, including the ceiling-suspended Siesta range. Not only that, but CoolMaster now also supports air-to-water Daikin heat pump units, such as the Altherma range.

Mitsubishi Electric

CoolMaster now supports the entire range of Mitsubishi Electric's split and multi-split systems. While compatibility was previously limited to ducted units, it has now expanded to support all wall-mounted and cassette indoor units. CoolMasters will be supplied with a dedicated cable to be connected directly to HVAC indoor unit terminals on their PCB.

Both Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric systems will offer two options for connecting a CoolMaster to indoor HVAC units. The first is a 2-wired connection in parallel with the wired remote, and the second is a direct connection to the indoor unit's PCB terminals using the dedicated cable supplied with the CoolMaster.
